As in the film of the same name, one can hear that Bette was sick with the flu while performing. I never felt this was the epitome of Bette live on film (or video). That honor goes to the HBO-produced The Bette Midler Show from which they culled the album LIVE AT LAST. Still this recording, produced by Dennis Kirk, has some good moments.
